Spring Orientation Guest Schedule
Spring Orientation for parents and guests is two days full of programming.
- Meet other parents who share similar concerns and learn about services available to assist parents of WSU students.
- Learn about resources and strategies that will assist your student during their first year of college and beyond.
- Spend time with University faculty, staff, and administrators in informal settings.
- Review WSU costs and payment options.
- Learn about on- and off-campus living options.
Parents & Guests: Housing is not provided as a part of Spring Orientation. You are permitted to stay with your student in their residence hall provided the roommates agree. Information on hotels can be found at the chamber of commerce website by visiting www.pullmanchamber.com.
A detailed schedule will be provided to parents/guests at check-in.
Wednesday 1/6
12:30 - 3:00 p.m. - Program Check-in
Check-in for Spring Orientation will be held on the 2nd floor of the Smith Center for Undergraduate Education (CUE). Click here for a campus map.
4:00– 5:00 p.m. - Welcome to WSU
5:00 – 6:00 p.m. - Dinner
6:00 – 8:00 p.m. - Evening Workshops

6:45 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. - Breakfast

10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. - Advising Communities
12:00 - 1:00 p.m. - Lunch
1:00 – 2:00 p.m. - Academic Fair
2:00 - 3:00 p.m. - Resource tour (optional)
3:00 – 4:00 p.m. - Staying Well @ WSU
